APOSTOLIC PENTECOSTAL

The Church was established in the New Testament and was founded on the Day of Pentecost.  This is plainly recorded in the Book of Acts.  All the original churches (Ephesus, Corinth, etc...) were established on this Pentecostal experience.  We adhere to the same message - the apostles doctrine; therefore we are called "Apostolic".  We adhere to the same plan of salvation that was delivered on the Day of Pentecost; therefore we are called "Pentecostal".

FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

EPHESIANS 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Faith is understanding that we are unable to save ourselves; and, believe that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross was for the complete forgiveness of our sins.  We are saved by grace through faith, and not by our own good works.

REPENTANCE

I JOHN 1:8-9

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Repentance is an essential part of the New Testament plan of salvation. We must confess that we are sinners and ask for God's forgiveness and turn from our sinful ways in order to turn toward His righteousness. Upon repentance, we open the door for God's forgiveness.

WATER BAPTISM

(by total immersion)

GALATIANS 3:27

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Water Baptism by total immersion is an essential part of the New Testament plan of salvation (not just a symbolic ritual).  The Word of God teaches us that it is one of the requirements in order to enter the kingdom of God, and is not just merely a part of the local church membership.

SPIRITUAL BAPTISM

(by infilling of the Holy Ghost / Holy Spirit with the evidence of Speaking in Tounges)

JOHN 3:3-7

Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus saith unto him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

The infilling of the Holy Ghost / Holy Spirit (Spiritual Baptism) is an essential part of the New Testament plan of salvation. It is the very seal of God and the absolute guarantee for our inheritance of eternal life as we continue to walk a holy and repented life. This is the very Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ dwelling and working within us. All born again believers must be baptized with the Holy Ghost / Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tounges.
